Case Study

Indigenous Business Support Services

Indigenous Business Support Services play a crucial role in empowering and promoting economic self-sufficiency among Indigenous communities. Australian Government departments – IBA, TSRA and ILSC engage us to provide these critical services to aspiring and small Indigenous businesses.

Our services encompass a wide range of resources, including mentorship, skills training, business planning, regulatory compliance and business establishment or growth.

Additionally, Indigenous Business Support Services help bridge the gap between the traditional knowledge and skills of Indigenous peoples and contemporary business practices. They provide essential guidance on navigating regulatory hurdles, accessing markets, and securing funding opportunities. By recognizing the distinct cultural values and community ties that underpin Indigenous businesses, these support services ensure that economic development is not at the expense of cultural integrity but rather enhances the overall well-being and sustainability of Indigenous communities. In doing so, Indigenous Business Support Services contribute to the broader goal of reconciliation and the empowerment of Indigenous entrepreneurs who seek to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the larger economy.
