First Nations Tourism Mentoring Program

Deadly Women in Local Government Cairns 2023 was an initiative of the Queensland Government.

The program delivered a conference for First Nations women in Local Government to help increase their leadership capabilities through a combination of mentoring, coaching, training and support networks.

CBS were engaged as Subject Matter Experts (SME) to assist Queensland Government in reviewing and updating content on the Business Queensland website.

SME’s required technical expertise in business development for small and medium enterprises with high level writing skills.

Indigenous Business Support Services play a crucial role in empowering and promoting economic self-sufficiency among Indigenous communities.

Australian Government departments – IBA, TSRA and ILSC engage us to provide these critical services to aspiring and small Indigenous businesses.

The First Nations Tourism Mentoring Program is an initiative of the Australian Government to support Indigenous tourism businesses to grow and achieve their goals through connecting them with skilled, experienced and culturally respectful industry specialists.

CBS has been appointed as a mentor representing Queensland tourism businesses.
