HISTORY
Complete Business Solutions (QLD) Pty Ltd is a 100% Indigenous owned business based in Cairns, Queensland providing services across Australia and internationally. The business is the result of an amalgamation between two experienced, successful business owners who strongly believe and recognise that country, community and culture are vital stakeholders needed to build our regional communities and celebrate success stories through connections beyond their own networks, such as larger corporations and Government agencies.
Superior client service has resulted in rapid growth and service diversification to address many pain points faced by small businesses. The Directors have won national and state awards for dedication to business and community services.
The Directors, Petina Tieman and Paul Gear, have extensive experience supplying business consultancy and compliance services to Local, State and Commonwealth Government Departments and Agencies. With over 50 years collective experience across a variety of industries and business structures from start−ups and SME’s to ASX listed corporations − they have worked in remote regions and metropolitan areas.

Petina is known as the ‘Rainmaker…Building Business, Empowering People’ − driven by her passion, Petina uses innovative methodologies of education and empowerment to genuinely help startups and small businesses to grow.
Paul Gear - Director
Paul, is often referred to as the ‘engine room’ of the business; managing workflow processes, driving the team and creating outcomes. With 20+ years business management experience, Paul has consulted and worked for SME’s, large corporations and Government agencies in Australia and Internationally. An award-winning State and National Health and Safety Award winning Business Manager, HSEQ consultant, Safety Trainer and successful author, Paul thrives on career diversity across multiple industries.

Paul Gear is a risk, compliance and safety specialist. He has extensive knowledge in the interpretation and application of the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulation 2011 for government and private enterprises and is an approved trainer for WHS Queensland.
